Coming in January

We just finished chapter seven on our study of "Becoming a Woman of Prayer"  and we are due to end right before Christmas. We're off this week so we can take our kiddos out dressed in crazy costumes to run amuck through our town throwing out threats in exchange for candy. Our schedule for the remainder of the study will be:



11/7- Chapter 8
11/14- Chapter 9
11/21 off for Thanksgiving
11/28- Chapter 10
12/5- Chapter 11
12/12-Christmas party...cause who doesn't like a party. :)
12/19-1/9 off for Christmas Holiday

In January, I'm looking into doing the video study on 

Philippians-To Live is Christ & to Die is Gain 

by Pastor Matt Chandler. 

I've already watched the whole series once. Each video session is less that 30 minutes long and the only thing you would need to have is your Bible and a willingness to learn. We will keep our same time slot on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:00pm during AWANA at Pollock Pines Community Church. We will begin on January 16th, 2013. Below is a link to the video series promo. Don't be frightened off by his passion and dynamic speaking style. He's a Baptist preacher with a Pentecostal soul (code: He yells about things He's passionate about which just happens to be our Jesus...and I'm loud, so who am I to judge. ha ha) Come learn an fellowship with us!

** I won't be following this with an online study, but will probably blog along the way with what the Lord is doing...and He is always doing something. :)
