The Countdown has begun and our bible study begins in just 11 days!! If you are interested in being a part of this study, the first step begins now as you need to obtain the book, Becoming A Woman Of Prayer. (Click on this link to read more about the book, the author and the reviews and to order your copy in paperback or digital book!)

What I will be providing here is first of all, bathed in prayer not only by me but by my sisters who I have the blessing of praying and serving with during this season of my life. My prayer is that the Holy Spirit is your teacher, your counselor and your intercessor. I pray that I may just be a vessel to testify how Jesus has drawn me closer to him through more time with him in prayer. Tangibly, I will be offering one to two excerpts from each chapter during each weeks study/theme along with a personal story/application, the memory verse and a challenge... but to really get the meat of this study you will need the book and to spend some time on your own doing each chapter and most importantly, time in prayer.

What is the benefit of the online study you ask??

1. It's an option for those whose schedules don't have space for a real face-to-face study, but who covet time with like-minded women and to know more of our Lord.

2. Here you can share what God is doing/moving in you through this study.

3. Here you can ask questions and share prayer requests. I am committed to pray for each of you. I may not know you, but our Lord knows you intimately

"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. " Psalm 139:13-14

4. Here we will expand on the study through a challenge and prayerfully you will find a place where you find accountability, encouragement and inspiration. My prayer for each of us is that we will come through this study knowing our Savior more richly.

So, how do you join in?
This part is up to you. There are a few options:

a. You can enter your email into the "follow by email" section on the right of this blog and each time a new post is up, it will pop into your email inbox...it's magical, it's easy.  :)

b. You can bookmark my blog link on your computer or "smartphone" and plan to check into it regularly.

c If you are feeling really non committal and want to see if this is even "for you", you may just stop by and peruse. There is no judgment here. :)

The beauty of a face-to-face study is the time we will spend in prayer each week applying and using what we are learning. I pray that as you study on your own and meet us here, your prayer life will be deepened, that your eyes will be opened to see how much our God loves us and how accessible He truly is!

I have been graciously given permission, by Cynthia Heald and the publisher NavPress, to do this study online.
